Pierre Jules Mene French bronze artist
Pierre Jules Mene (1810-1877) was the most prolific French animal sculptor of his time and worked in Paris, France. He was famous for his naturalistic representations of all creatures from the animal kingdom, particularly with horses. He was also famous for casting dogs and he exhibited at the Salon in 1838.
